A Parents' Day Out Preschool Program
This ministry of St. Andrew's is a preschool program with developmentally appropriate activities and curriculum for ages 18 months through 4 yrs. Little Sprouts began in June of 1997, and currently has sessions in fall, spring and summer on Monday and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Children may be enrolled in one or both days.
Our teachers are trained in all aspects of child development-physical, emotional, social and cognitive. The understanding of this typical development in children provides the framework for the planning and preparation of the learning environment.
Children's play is a primary vehicle for and indicator of healthy growth and development. Therefore, child-initiated, teacher supported play is an essential component of our program. Music, movement, and art are regular elements of the daily activities. The curriculum is both stimulating and simple with Bible-centered themes and lessons as well as a wide range of other topics.
