St. Andrew's worships in a non-traditional style.
Our music style runs a broad range of music. Most often we are led in music with a worship team accompanied by drums, guitar, keyboard, and flute regularly. We sing all styles of music. We use hymns and recent hit songs. We draw from praise music through all generations and from the previous centuries. Clothing is relaxed and casual.
Non-traditional at St. Andrew's means that we follow a simple order of worship that includes:
Gathering God's people - in songs, announcements, and greeting one another.
Hearing and Proclaiming the Word of God - public reading and preaching.
Responding to God's Word - through prayers, creeds, baptisms, unions with the church, and tithes and offerings.
Celebrating Holy Communion - every
week!
Worship is our work of glorifying the God who calls us to meet Him and experience His Spirit. We believe that our worship is the intersection of the people called by God's name and the God who has called us.
Join us at this spiritual intersection and experience the glory of God with us!
