Team Mission

Team Responsibilities

1. New visitor follow-up - Call new visitors within 36 hours. Use five question guide. (Currently in Outreach)

2. Be responsible for having a loaf of  bread  baked and deliver to new visitors by Friday. (Currently in Outreach)

3. Greeters - Identify train and coordinate lay greeters for both Worship services  (Currently in Worship)
   - Greeters: Hand out bulletins, Welcome and help to seat congregation, answer questions, direct to Sunday School class and whatever it takes.

4. Visitor Packet - Work with pastoral staff to develop a new visitors packet to be delivered with the bread.

5. New Comers Class - Have one person from team come to the class and be responsible for a light meal for attendees.

6. Work with staff to design and place advertisements.

7. Alpha Program - Work with pastoral staff to offer Alpha to the community.  Alpha is a 10 week introductory course to Christian faith.  (Currently in Adult Ministry.)

-         Newspaper-Ad – articles

Where is our focal point for communication?

Web site should be used for – Calendar, meeting locations, prayer needs, service time etc.

Visitation should be used for things that involve emotional content.

We need a year-at-a-glance calendar (and use it ) that has large enough spaces to put everything the church has “going” poster! We’re too small to schedule two or more importation events simultaneously.
